CURATED SOLO AND GROUP EXHIBITIONS

We build curatorial contexts where art can be seen, understood, and connected

The WIN for ART curated exhibitions program represents a professional framework through which contemporary art is presented to the public, collectors, and the art market in a coherent, relevant, and memorable way. Each exhibition is conceived as a complete curatorial project, with a clear theme, a narrative thread, a carefully selected group of artists, and a communication strategy designed to generate long-term cultural value.

Through this program, WIN for ART aims to create spaces of encounter between artists, audiences, curators, collectors, and cultural partners. Exhibitions are not treated as simple presentations of works, but as acts of contextualization, dialogue, and connection between creation, community, and the art market.

What the program offers

The program includes three complementary curatorial formats: solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and thematic or conceptual projects. Solo exhibitions offer the opportunity to explore the universe of a single artist in depth, either as a partial retrospective or as a site-specific project. Group exhibitions create dialogues between multiple artistic voices brought together around a shared theme, while thematic projects explore broader cultural, social, or aesthetic questions.

Exhibitions may take place in WIN for ART spaces, partner galleries, museums, cultural institutions, or non-conventional locations with strong impact potential. The program includes curatorial support, exhibition production, logistics, communication, PR, bilingual RO-EN catalogues, photo and video documentation, openings, artist talks, and networking contexts with art professionals.

Who it is for

How the selection works

Selection is carried out through open calls or curatorial proposals evaluated by a specialized committee. The main criteria include the quality of the curatorial proposal, the clarity and coherence of the artistic work presented, relevance to the program’s theme, cultural impact potential, and the project’s ability to contribute to the foundation’s mission.

The program seeks a balance between emerging and established artists, as well as between Romanian and international artists, in order to build diverse, relevant artistic dialogues connected to the contemporary scene.

Impact for artists

For artists, participation in the program means access to curated exhibitions in prestigious spaces, the production of a professional bilingual catalogue, media appearances, curated digital presence, and complete documentation of the project through photography, video, and archiving. These resources contribute to strengthening the portfolio, increasing visibility, and developing a clearer and more credible professional presence.

In addition, the program facilitates connections with curators, gallerists, collectors, art critics, and cultural institutions, offering real opportunities for future development: residencies, grants, international exhibitions, collaborations, and increased market value for the works.

Impact for the art market and for partners

Through this program, WIN for ART contributes to the professionalization of artistic presentation, documentation, and promotion standards in Romania. Curated exhibitions create high-quality contexts for the encounter between artists and audiences, stimulate interest in Romanian contemporary art, and strengthen the relationships between artists, galleries, museums, cultural institutions, and collectors.

For partners, involvement in the program means association with a cultural project of impact, with both national and international visibility. Benefits include presence in bilingual catalogues, promotional materials, the website, dedicated micro-sites, exhibition openings, networking events, and transparent reports on the results achieved.

Why this program matters

A curated exhibition is not only a moment of presentation, but an act of cultural construction. It gives the artwork context, creates bridges between artist and audience, and transforms the visual experience into a dialogue with long-term value. WIN for ART develops this program in order to position Romanian contemporary art within a professional, coherent framework connected to international standards.
